2010 Site Re-design In the Works!

As mentioned briefly on the home page, the Dijital Media 2010 Site update is in the works.  It has been for some time now, but as is often the case our own site has had to take a back seat to the the needs of our clients.

That said, we've invested a great deal of time and effort to ensure that the new site is not only faster to load, more accessible across all modern browsers, as well as mobile platforms (iPhone, Blackberry, etc...), Easier to use, Consistent in its branding as well as a number of other considerations that will ultimately make it more useful for our existing clientele as well as prospective new clients.

In the process of the redesign, we tapped several of our clients, ranging from Small Businesses to Large Corporations, to gather feedback on how best to improve upon our existing site.

They graciously provided us some important information on what they liked and more importantly what they didn't and we've worked hard to address all of their valuable points.

The bottom line is that we're continually evolving within our industry and will always look at better, more efficient ways to serve our clients and our community.

We're excited to roll out the new changes in the coming weeks and hope that you'll find the new site not only more useful, but simpler to navigate and even more appealing than the current.

Thanks again for your continued support and letting Dijital Media be your choice for your online marketing needs!

Dijital Media in the Press

Recently, Dijital Media was mentioned in an article by the St. Louis Business Journal.  Since moving into the EDC building, DM has enjoyed a great reputation among building tennants as well as the St. Charles, MO business community at large.

This environment, consisting primarily of new and innovative businesses, has been one in which Dijital Media has found a wealth of opportunities.

One upcoming and exciting project is a new website to support the EDC's 'Jobs Now' initiative.  This is one of the many new projects designed by the EDC to spur economic growth in these difficult times.  Dijital Media is proud to serve our community through our technological offerings, as well as in our ability to communicate the EDC's message effectively.

You can view the first of many videos in support of this project.

Firefox Users Most Secure on Internet

Get Firefox - Make the Web a Better PlaceIf the amazing extensions, quicker web-browsing, attractive themes weren't enough to sway you toward Firefox over Internet Explorer, perhaps the sobering topic of identity theft will be the one compelling reason you make the switch.

For years Web Designers have touted the benefits of using Firefox and certainly many, MANY people have made the switch - and quite happily so, but still a vast number of web surfers are using the defunct and unsecure Microsoft technology. This is not necessarily by choice however.

What Does Net Neutrality Mean to Your Business?

While the topic of Net Neutrality is a very complicated and nuanced issue, as an average business internet-user, it's likely that you won't be affected regardless of the outcome.  While some people try to vilify the big Telecom companies - which they partially deserve - there are actually valid points on both sides of the debate.
